Our 2019 Halloween Ride was a Graveyard Smash!

We had 124 ATVs and over 240 drivers, riders, and Trunk or Treaters! Thanks to all that attended....thank you to Twitchell Airport for permitting us to use the grass runway and backwoods trails...and to Bill and Betsy at Brigeen farms for allowing us to go around the cornfield which let us add just the right amount of fright to our spooky Halloween scenes!

As always we are very grateful to our landowners that permit us use of their property so our club and fellow "ATVers" may enjoy the beauty that our State of Maine offers us!

Scholarship Information

Dennis Bard was an avid outdoorsman- he was a hunter, a fisherman, a snowmobiler, and an ATVer. A former vice president and a founding member of the scholarship committee, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to any club project. He enjoyed riding with big groups and could be found leading the ride. In his honor, Turner Timberland ATV Club will be awarding a scholarship certificate to an undergraduate student for the upcoming school year. Applicants must follow four (4) criteria as set forth by The Turner Timberland ATV Club scholarship committee in order to be eligible. Students may reapply for this grant if they were turned down in a previous semester.

1. Candidate must be currently enrolled or accepted as a full-time student, working towards an associates or bachelor’s degree at an accredited college, university, or vocational school. Must be holding a "C" average or better.

2. Applicant should submit a short narrative essay stating why scholarship is being requested, goals to be achieved in college, and career plans.

3. An official school transcript (school seal embossed) must be submitted with the application. Copies will not be accepted. This is a summary of all grade reports for the four high school years attended. Extra-curricular activities, sports, and work involvement in addition to participation in Turner Timberland ATV club functions will contribute to the final score.

4. Scholarship application must be received not later than May 15.

The scholarship committee will review applications that have met the criteria. The committee will make the final determination for allocation of scholarship money. The winner will be contacted in June.

NOTE: Extracurricular activities, sports, community work will contribute to the final score. This application information sheet is required. Applications must be submitted to any committee member or to the club address above.
